In conformity with this intention, the present volume of Biography has been produced, which will be followed from time to time by others of a similar description, as well as those of a more ample and detailed character, in which a complete portraiture is given of those distinguished men whose piety and usefulness were so eminent, and whose course was so filled with trials and vicissitudes.
