Excerpt from Secretary´s Second Report: Harvard College Class of 1911 To the Class: - This is our Second Report and many of you have probably wondered why it has not appeared before. It was deemed advisable not to issue it immediately after the Triennial as in that case we should not have been able to publish an account of our week´s celebration for the benefit of those unfortunates who could not come back for the fun. We all are indebted to Horton Edmands for his delightful memoirs of those few days last June. You will find them contained herein, and I hope that you will all draw the same conclusion, namely, that under no circumstances must you be absent from our Sexennial. Great credit is owed the Alumni Association for the very efficient work which they have done in editing this Report. The Secretary also wants to thank all of you who have replied so promptly to the requests for information. Men who do not fill in and send back their blanks promptly and accurately are largely responsible for the increased cost in editing reports. As you have often heard before, but on which too much importance cannot be laid, you are urged to give Class matters your prompt attention, as by so doing you will greatly increase the efficiency of any work which may be in hand and insure a complete record of the Class for your own future reference. Information which any of you may be able to furnish concerning "Lost" men will be greatly appreciated by the Secretary. It is very important that all who possibly can, help along the Twenty-fifth Anniversary Fund by taking out 20-year endowment life insurance policies.
