It will not be necessary for the publishers to make a comparison between the two, as it regards literary points of view - all we have to say is that the "Iniquities of New York" is written by an author of acknowledged talent. In regard to the merits of the work as a true vehicle of the Iniquities of our great city, the reader has only to read this work and he will see that the author of "Asmodeus," or "Mysteries and Miseries of New York" knew but little of what he professed to write a great deal about.
