That´s what it cost me. The writing I did "just for the fun of it," when I felt kind of bubbling like. It didn´t cost me anything. It won´t cost you anything to read it. If you feel unwilling to make the start, I offer you a reward of $1.00. That´s why I have called this book a "You-ought-to-buy-ography." I could make this preface much longer by using some of the words I have left out of this book to shorten it; but I want space on this page for a key to the jokes that have got in it, in spite of my vigilance.
