A Letter of John Buxton, of Shadwell, Esq; on the Contests relative to the ensuing Election for the Country of Norfolk. Per Graium populos, medioeque per elidis urbem, Ibat ovans divumque sibi poscebat honorem. 1768. 2. A Letter from the Island of Barataria, to the Author of a Letter to John Buxton, Esq; containing a short description of the true characters of Sancho, the chief governor; Caledon, the principal secretary; Col. Promise, lieurenant governor, Sancho´s jester, and speaker of the island; Serjeant Ruffin, the prime serjeant of the pleaders. Quales ex humili magna ad fastigia rerum Extollot, quotits voluit fortuna jocari. N. B. This letter was wrote and printed in Dublin, by the gentlemen of the committee for conducting the press, and with three other letters of the same size, were published in the paper called the Publick Register, or the Freeman´s Journal, at Dublin. 3.
