Several of the other specimens of verse were published in the "Boston Courier," while under charge of Mr. Lunt. Genius was sent to the Byron Banquet at New York in 1870. "West Roxbury" is added on the title-page, there being a gentleman of the same name at Buffalo, N. Y., who has published some excellent verse. The Poems are printed in this more enduring form, for the friends to whom this book is respectfully dedicated.
