The themes were selected long before, illustrations gathered as the months went by, more especial thought and attention given to plan and outline as the time drew near, but each sermon was finally constructed on the day of delivery. They are practically stenographic reports of the discourses as delivered from day to day. The blessing of God was upon them in their delivery, and a large number of men and women were persuaded by them to accept Christ as their Savior.
