(a) Comparison of stanzas "To My Sister," (beginning, "It is the first mild day of March,") with the "Ode to Duty." (b) The deep, moral lesson of "The Leech-Gatherer." (c) Wordsworth´s own belief concerning the moral influence of his poems. "They will co-operate with the benign tendencies in human nature and society, and will, in their degree, be efficacious in making men wiser, better, and happier." VI. Criticism. A.
