At the same time since my faith and the facts which it recognizes are, in general, the same that are known as Protestant Christianity, they have the endorsement of that great body of Christian people whose claim to be the most intelligent, well-informed, and consistent representatives of Christianity it is hard to dispute. Moreover, since other very large communions claiming to be Christians, while differing very widely from Protestants in many important respects, yet agree with them regarding many fundamental facts and truths, this agreement must be admitted to swell to very large proportions the number of those for whom the facts of this book are the real and undisputed "facts of the Faith."
