M. Pastor of the church in Salem, New-Hampshire, hath deposited in this office, the title of a book, the right whereof he claims as Author, in the following words, to wit; "A vindication of the Sentiments and Practice of those, who believe in God´s everlasting covenant, and apply the seal to their Infant Offspring; in Six Sermons, on Romans, iv. 11 - 12." In conformity to the Act of the Congress of the United States, entitled, "an Act for the encouragement of learning by securing copies of Maps, Charts, and other Books to the Authors and Proprietors therein mentioned," and also "an Act for the encouragement of learning, by securing copies of Maps, Charts, and other Books to the Authors and Proprietors therein mentioned, and extending the benefits thereof to the Arts of designing, engraving, and etching Historical and other Prints."
