The Committee herewith present their report. In many cases State Societies have not furnished information requested as to Rank or Service, but the Committee have verified the Rank from the Army and Navy Registry of 1899, as far as possible. The records are necessarily brief. Dates of actions and service of warships are given at the end before the index.
