Norton Longman, who has let us reprint passages from books published by him; and Mr. Blackwell, the publisher of the Oxford Diocesan Magazine. In his letters, Dr. Paget used to follow his father´s rule of writing in capitals the Divine Name: he used also to date his letters according to the Church Calendar. We have not thought it necessary, in the printed letters, to mark these observances. Messrs. Hills and Saunders have lent photographs for some of the illustrations. The frontispiece is from Mr. Sidney Hall´s picture, which was presented this year to Cuddesdon ;it is a replica from his large picture, now in Buckingham Palace, of an Investiture of the Order of the Garter.
