Can you tell the story you have chosen in the amount of time given? Appropriateness. Will the story appeal to the congregation´s interests? Timeliness. Does the subject relate to current events or trends in the church? Factual. Is there good reason to believe that the information you have is correct? Where can you verify the information if there is doubt? The Order of Worship. What will precede and what will follow the Minute for Mission?
