Out of gracious appreciation Roosevelt introduced this Hamiltonian envoy to royalty - nine kings. Shortly after his return this gentleman had to wear his right hand in a sling because every Hamiltonian wanted to shake the hand that held nine kings´, being five more than honest Pat Sheedy ever dared to hold. This club attended the Roosevelt reception in New York in princely style. They engaged a special train and two locomotives to beat the Twentieth Century Express. They engaged a whole floor in the Waldorf-Astoria, where perennially Wall Street and Washington, D. C., combines to absorb the country.
