Produktbeschreibung
Excerpt from The Significance of Indian Nationalism When, in August 1919, I was released from a four years´ internment, one of the first persons I talked with was the late Lokamanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak, who was then in London. He urged me to republish this little book. Serious ill-health prevented me from doing so then, but later on I set about revising it that it might be brought up to date. All that was then done has been discarded in the conviction that such revision would necessarily destroy whatever of value it may hold for those who are studying and living in the present situation. For as it stands, it is a reflection, albeit an incomplete one, of the problem of Indian Nationalism as it existed in 1909.
