Produktbeschreibung

Excerpt from How the Government Grants Monopolies Nearly eight hundred thousand patents for useful inventions have been issued in the United States since the beginning of our national history. The inventors might be found in all occupations and professions. The inventions protected by these patents have laid the foundation for the preeminent industrial position now occupied by this country, and it is our wise and liberal patent laws that have encouraged inventors to devote their energies to the development of these inventions. The conditions governing the granting of patents are of general interest and every manufacturer and business man as well as every inventor should have some knowledge of them. This pamphlet gives, in a condensed manner, the information most frequently asked for and it is hoped that it will be found of use. The registration of copyrights and trade marks is also discussed. The new trade mark law which became effective April 1st, 1905, has attracted much attention to this subject and the liberality of its provisions has already caused many to avail themselves of its benefits.
