The proceedings of these conferences brought out with such fulness the essential situation and the prospective needs of each district and were so rich in definite suggestions for future work that their publication became an essential complement of the report of the Congress. The committee on Cooperation in Latin America has therefore authorized this volume as an integral part of the series which records and interprets the Congress. The editorial committee desires to express its deep sense of obligation to the Rev.
