Produktbeschreibung

Excerpt from Cicely in Ceylon Desmond Cleeve braced himself against the small hurricane which swept the decks of the P. and O. steamship "Scudan," and thanked his stars that at least sea-sickness was not one of his vices. The great rollers, born amidst the untrammelled expanse of the Atlantic ocean, swept down upon the vessel´s quarter with a force of apparent annihilation. Now and again, shivering as if with ague, the wretched ship thrust her nose into an abysmal trough, and the screw, rising heavenwards, raced impotently.
