Produktbeschreibung
Excerpt from Martin Luther, a Sermon Suggested by the Four Hundredth Birthday of Martin Luther: Delivered in the Meeting-House of the First Baptist Church, Philadelphia, November 11th, 1883 "He shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias." - Luke I, 17. So said the angel Gabriel to the priest Zacharias, as, standing on the right hand of the altar of incense, he foretold the birth of John the Baptist: "Fear not, Zacharias; for thy prayer is heard, and thy wife Elizabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John; he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall go before his face in the spirit and power of Elijah." I can think of no more appropriate text on which to base a discourse in commemoration of Martin Luther. About the Publisher Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books.
