And St. Chrysostom indeed proceeds to imply that such mysterious doctrine is contained in the practical lesson, "When thou shalt cast out evil spirits in my name, and shalt see me carried up into heaven, and shalt be taught by the Spirit that I sit at the Right Hand, then shalt thou understand what now hath been done." From which it seems that Chrysostom supposed the action to have something in it peculiar to the Apostles as preparatory to their apostolical or sacerdotal office, independently of the general instruction."
