"Foreword," says the girl, looking at me very hard, with the air of having me caught in my own trap, "is Anglo-Saxon." "That settles it!" says I. "No Anglo-Saxon, or any other sort of Saxon, for me, if you please. I had ancestors in Enniskillen, I suppose, and I suppose I had ancestors with King William at Boyne Water.
