Crest. - A griffin´s head sable erased gules charged with three barrulets that in the middle argent the other two or over all a pallet wavy ermine. Motto. - Festina lente. Joseph Everett of Upton Lovel Manor, and of Greenhill House, Sutton Veny, both co. Wilts; born at Heytesbury, co. Wilts, 26 March 1793; educated at Glasgow University; J.P. and D.L. for co. Wilts; died at Greenhill House, Sutton Veny, aged 72, on Thursday, 5 October, bur. at Sutton Veny 10 October 1865. Church at Sutton Veny erected to his memory by his widow and children. Adnion was granted at the Principal Registry 3 November 1865, to Albert Nelson Everett, Attomeyat-Law, son, and one of the next of kin. Portrait in the possession of Airs. Everett of The Close, Salisbury. Frances Alice, dau. of the Rev. Robert Rolfe of Saham Toney, co. Norfolk, by Frances his 2 nd wife, dau. of the Rev. Robert Cremer, Vicar of Wymondham, co. Norfolk, relict of Thomas Mott of Barningham Hall, Co. Norfolk; bom at Saham Toney 28 August, bapt. there 22 September 1799; marr.9 November 1829; died at Victoria Terrace, Weymouth, Co. Dorset, aged 84, on Monday, 15 October, bur. at Sutton Veny 20 October 1883. Memorial Brass in the church at Sutton Veny. Will dated 2 January 1883, proved at Blandford, co. Dorset, 26 November 1883, by the Rev. Arthur Joseph Everett, son, and the Rev. Henry Everett Ravenhill, two of the Exors. From a letter dated Heytesbury, 9 th Aug.1839.
