C., May 8-9, 1913 The ninth annual meeting of The National Association for the Study and Prevention of Tuberculosis was held at the New Willard Hotel, Washington, D. C., on Thursday and Friday, May 8 and 9, 1913. The President of the Association, Mr. Homer Folks, called the Association to order at 11 o´clock on the morning of May 8th. Following the address of the President and the report of the Executive Secretary, in accordance with the regular procedure of the Association, the following Committee was appointed by the Chair to present nominations to fill vacancies in the Board of Directors. At the general meeting of the Association, held at noon on May 9th, the regular order of business was varied to admit the presentation of a report on the status of the investigation of the Friedmann Treatment by the United States Public Health Service.
