Gentlemen, - I thank you for your very kind expression, in behalf of the First Parish in Dorchester, of your satisfaction with my services on Sunday last in memory of Adjutant Hall. In reply to your request, I would say, if it is in accordance with the feelings of the parents and kindred of my loved and gallant young friend, the manuscript of my Address is at your disposal; understanding, as I do, that you propose to print it for private circulation, and not for publication in the usual sense of the word.
