The chief additions consist of a section on alterations in the odor of the breath in disease; a section on urine alterations; a chapter on massage in pædiatrics, and a detailed account of second dentition and its influence on the health in late childhood - a subject heretofore greatly neglected. The author wishes to thank the critics of the first edition of his book for many valuable suggestions, from which he has profited greatly. His thanks are also due to Dr. Wm. M.
