In response to repeated requests the work of preparing these chapters was undertaken. The task has been one of genuine pleasure. The purpose of the book is to emphasize the child´s rights in the Father´s family as set forth in the nine great utterances of the Master concerning childhood. These constitute the magna charta of the religious rights and privileges of the child. To exalt the child is to return to Christ, and to safeguard its unfolding life is to renew his teaching and endeavor.
