In "On naet esclave" and "Le Petit Cafe", for instance, we find a serious comment on life; this however, never interferes with the joyous course of the comedy, but forms rather a more solid background. "Je Vais me´n aller", which is here translated into English for the first time, is a very simple little dialog, illustrative of the early work of this dramatist.
