The two books together cover all the ground which must be travelled over by the student for the Incorporated Law Society´s Examinations. Neither work is intended as a substitute for the standard text-books of the various subjects, but rather as a supplement or aid to such text-books. The plan of the former Digest is also that of the present one. The questions asked and answered in this work are not simply the old questions actually set in former examinations, dished up with answers supposed to be correct, and copied from well-known textbooks. An effort has been made to set before the reader, by way of question and answer, the leading points in each subject treated of.
