The work has been written with no unkind feelings towards his Baptist brethren, from whose principles, he dissents. He hopes and prays that the day is not far distant when the unhappy division that now exists on the subjects and mode of baptism may not only cease, but that christians every denomination may live together in Peace, Union and Fellowship.
