Produktbeschreibung
Excerpt from Memorial of Ambrose Spencer, Former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the State of New York Mr. Bokee offered the following resolutions, which were adopted unanimously. Mr. B. said he should not undertake to pronounce an eulogy upon the distinguished subject of these resolutions, believing that it would be found in the history of the state, with whose public affairs he had been intimately connected for a long period of his life. He felt it to be a duty, however, which we owed to the illustrious position which the deceased had occupied, and the great services which he had rendered, and because he was perhaps the last of those whose public career dates beyond the commencement of the present century, to adopt this testimonial of respect to his memory. He believed the resolutions would commend themselves to every senator, and be adopted without dissent. About the Publisher Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books.
