In preparing the volume the Committee found that there are no memorials for some Forty Companions, who died previous to December 31, 1911; and the committee has added an appendix therefore, including said Forty Companions, giving each his military record as shown by the records of the Commandery, the date of his death and number of his insignia and Commandery number, and it is thought that a subsequent volume can easily include memorials as filed. It is hoped that this volume will meet with favor.
