The Acts upon the important questions of Sewers and Drainage are far more complicated than the Cases. The reader will, however, be assisted by copious Tables of Statutes and Cases, and his attention is directed to the Addenda, which he will, of course, incorporate with the Work: some of these Addenda are new, some belong to errors, "Quos humana parum cavit natura:" they are few, but should not be lost sight of. The Author submits the present Edition with some confidence to the Profession, since they have already recognized the usefulness of those Editions which have preceded it.
