(to Clement) I say waiter, Garcon! Clement. Oui, Monsieur. Lead. Oh, I say, look here, vous parley Anglais, don´t you? You speak English, eh? Clem. (in broken English) Yes, Sair! Lead. Bien! That´s all right, (sitting R. lazily) What´s going on in this deadly lively little place? Clem. Beg pardon, Monsieur? Lead. What´s going on here?
