The aim of the authors has been to present the anatomy and physiology of the ear, nose, and throat concisely, but with thoroughness and in accord with the latest discoveries in their respective departments. In the treatment of the diseases of the ear, nose, and throat the authors believe that they have presented those methods of medication and surgery which are at once the newest and accepted as the best by the leading specialists in laryngology, rhinology, and otology. Each author is, however, responsible for only his own statements.
