Fox Sir, The founding a commercial intercourse between Great-Britain and Ireland, upon the basis of mutual advantage, seems a measure so wife, and salutary in itself, and so promising in its consequences, as naturally to excite a more than ordinary share of the public attention. The object has long had the warmest wishes of the best, and most exalted character of both countries, and the most fervent payers of every one not insensible of their welfare and happiness; and it is with inexpressible pleasure and satisfaction, they now behold it ripening, and nearly brought to as state of maturity, by the fostering hand of the present most excellent Minister, who, with his father´s resplendent virtues, most happily blends the wisdom of age and experience. A measure, Si that will at once do away all those jealousies that have so long filled the breast of Ireland - that must for ever attach her to Great-Britain - and make their interest one and the same, cannot but claim a very powerful support from the representatives of the people.
