Our errand to the former, was to examine what assistance might be thought necessary to be given them, in order to promote their religious interests, immediately after their emerging out of the distresses occasioned by the late desolating war: and, by visiting the latter, we were to try if they discovered any favourable disposition for attending to the gospel and the ministrations of it.
