Produktbeschreibung
Excerpt from Reports of Cases (Principally Under the County Courts Equitable Jurisdiction Act, 1865, and the County Courts Amendment Act, 1867): In the County Courts Included in Circuit No; 45, Heard and Determined by Henry James Stonor, Esq., Judge of the Said Courts; With a Preface, Notes, and Appendix The great changes which have taken place, and the still greater changes which are evidently approaching in our judicial establishments and legal procedure render any apology for this publication unnecessary. In itself it is an evidence of the important alterations effected by recent legislation in transforming the County Courts throughout the kingdom into Courts of Equity and Nisi Prius. The Circuit of County Courts to which it relates, No. 45, and in which the cases reported in the following pages arose, presents, no doubt, peculiar features. It shows an increase of one-third in business within three years preceding the last printed returns issued by the Treasury (ending 30th December, 1867). It is the highest in the list in Equity suits, and the highest in Jury Cases in the same returns, although considerably inferior in the number of Plaints to many other Circuits. It is greatly frequented by Counsel and Solicitors. About the Publisher Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books.
