Just a little way along the shore you can see the fishermen going out and coming in; and isn´t it just strange the way they run their boats through the surf! If you sit on one of the benches you can look out on the ocean, and there, right in front of you, you will probably see the "Plymouth Rock," or one of those great three-deckers that run down to Long Branch, all dressed out with its dozens of flags, and literally black with the hundreds of people on its decks. Or perhaps you will see a race between two steamers. Or you may see some Southern vessels sailing along towards home after a long voyage to the other side of the world.
