Due to this the focus is now shifting towards other control practice in which bio-control attain significant importance. The fruit flies parasitoid Dirhinus giffardii currently present in sufficient quantity in fruit flies prevailing areas but there is need to exploit it as bio-control agent through classical biological control technique. In this book the rearing of this parasitoid on fruit flies pupae is illustrated.
