In five learning modules the course "Diving into life" prepares adults age-appropriately for their christening. The course is aimed at parishes, church training institutes, city churches and other clerical institutions. In the course adults considering to be christened as well as people who would like to affirm their christening get to know the elements of a christening ceremony, develop the biblical backgrounds and make active use of elements of the religious services, such as psalm prayers and the Lord´s Prayer. An additional church pedagogical learning unit builds a bridge between the course and the christening ceremony. The course book introduces the individual modules with a detailed course plan and materials and provides an overview of time requirements, contents, working methods and the required materials. The additional DVD offers songs, film sequences and copy masters as complementary resource materials. Language: German
