Encompassing six decades of extraordinary work, "Avedon Fashion 1944-2000" includes more than 200 works by Richard Avedon, from vintage prints and magazine layouts to contact sheets and personal correspondence. Showing Avedon´s groundbreaking early work for Harper´s Bazaar to his later work at "Vogue", "Egoiste" and "The New Yorker", this volume represents a major retrospective of the photographer´s work. The book has been assembled by Carol Squiers, curator at the International Center of Photography and photography critic Vince Aletti.
